Japan Trip, Second Leg
Today we flew from Tokyo to Kumamoto, and then we traveled by bus to our hotel in Fukuoka. Tonight was supposed to feature unlimited internet access, so I was hoping to polish off my piece -- replying to many of you kids who have written -- about ingredients of culture here in Japan, but of course the internet isn't working in my room -- AARGH. I'll do my best to get some posts up before we leave in the morning, as internet may be completely unavailable for the next seven days in Arao. In fact, I'll sign off now so I can go try to communicate to the front desk what my internet issues are. Should be fun.
